Path to Publication!

In this tough economy, getting a book published can take over a decade–or not–depending on your targeted audience. Speakers Michelle Duster, Jen Cullerton Johnson, and Trina Sotira will cover your publishing options from self to traditional, fiction to nonfiction, children’s to adult books, blogs to articles.

The seminar will be divided into three parts to help you determine your audience, explore your publishing options, and sell your work:

1) How to meet your publishing needs/goals
2) How to write a strong query letter
3) How to create a compelling hook which you can use in self-promotion

The four-hour intensive seminar includes group writing exercises, peer critiques, and working documents for at-home use. You are encouraged to bring a one-paragraph summary of your work-in-progress.
